Sermon Title:

Strong Faith in Confusing Times: A Habakkuk Moment

Text:

Habakkuk 1:1–12 (NIV)

Sermon Synopsis

In a season marked by social unrest, delayed justice, and spiritual fatigue, Dr. Morton invites the church into a Habakkuk moment—that sacred space where faith confronts confusion honestly before God. Drawing from Habakkuk’s opening lament, this message explores how believers remain faithful when God’s character seems inconsistent with lived reality.

Rather than suppressing questions, the prophet teaches us to bring frustration, grief, and confusion into God’s presence, trusting that God forms our faith before revealing His answers. A Habakkuk moment is when strong faith meets uncomfortable reality and refuses to walk away.
