Showing Up for Our Community

At Orchard Knob, we believe in showing up—not only inside the walls of the church, but wherever people are working to strengthen children, families, and our community. That commitment was reflected as our pastor represented Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church and offered the opening prayer during the celebration of the newly renovated Hamilton County Juvenile Court.

We are grateful for the opportunity to pray over this space, those who serve within it, and every young person and family whose story will intersect with it. This is what being a church in the community looks like: present, prayerful, and committed to the well-being of our neighbors.

Jeremiah 29:7 reminds us to “seek the peace and prosperity of the city” where God has placed us. We are thankful for opportunities to stand alongside those working to strengthen our community and to carry the presence, prayer, and purpose of the church beyond our walls.
