June at The Knob is all about legacy, leadership, and lifting up the next generation. As we enter summer, we turn our hearts toward the power of fatherhood, the energy of youth, and the strength found in community prayer.
Father’s Day reminds us of the faithful men who guide, protect, and provide—not just in our homes but in our faith walk. From Abraham’s obedience (Genesis 22), to Joseph’s protection of Mary and Jesus (Matthew 1:18–25), Scripture paints a picture of men who lead by faith and humility. This month, we honor the strong fathers and father figures in our lives who reflect God’s heart.
We’re also excited to welcome kids and teens for
Vacation Bible School and Youth Week, running June 2–8. The week closes with a powerful Youth Day service featuring Joshua Rogers and Pastor Brandon Hite—you don’t want to miss it. Visit the
VBS and Youth Week page for the full schedule and registration.
As we observe
Juneteenth on June 19, our church offices will be closed as we commemorate freedom, faith, and the ongoing work of justice and reconciliation.
We close the month with our
Community Prayer Walk on June 28. Come walk with us as we pray over our city, our youth, and the vision God has for our future.
Let’s continue to grow in grace, walk in purpose, and stand together in faith.
